I live ten kilometers (10 minutes by bus with damn traffic) from the north. from kobosan hill at dimday you can see the line at the edge of this world where the lights end, where the fence must be, and the dmz begins. how strange to know that in this forested gap between fists the last korean tigers of myth still growl, unshaved by the frantic markets of the south or the hunger inches to the north which eats even the trees.
