donuts

I have the students do a recording diary at home where they talk about their day for as long as they like. Their parents sign it and they write one sentence summarizing what they talked about. I also have a student named Sirius. For his last entry he claims that he talked for 21 minutes about a "delicious glutinous rice donut" (his exact words).

With other students I might question their ability to wax poetic about a donut for so long, but no other student is Sirius. If you met him you would understand.

That must have been one damn fine donut.
