a. yes. although i am a christian, i hope to never become satisfied with my knowledge of god and the bible. i believe that viewing things from the perspective of eternity helps me to continually realize what is important in life.
b. to tell the truth, i'm not sure whether i am or not. i'd like to ask you to pray for me, so that i might have more of a desire to learn about god and the bible.

these are my options? damn.
this is similar I suppose to the double-bound instructions watzlawick gives to potential mothers wishing to carry their sons down the fragile mountain into psychosis-
1. buy two shirts for your sons birthday.
2. whichever shirt he wears the next day look at him with the most sorrowful eyes and slowly say, oh, so you didnt like the other one?
